Dr Bharadwaj has been a Consultant Rheumatologist at a tertiary university hospital in Essex since 2003, and now leads the rheumatology service at Basildon University Hospital as Clinical Lead and Clinical Director.
Previously he was Professor of Medicine and Head of Department at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal (India), Melaka Manipal Medical College (Malaysia) and Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara (Nepal). He trained in India and across the UK’s Eastern Deanery, bringing a broad international perspective to rheumatological care in Essex.
He has published widely, on topics from juvenile arthritis to giant cell arteritis, and remains Adjunct Professor at Kasturba Medical College (MAHE).
Beyond medicine, he has a lifelong passion for music, art, philosophy and travel.
